Demo Jam – Jam with the Best!

Join the ultimate developer competition! Gain acclaim and accolades from your peers, SAP executives, and the worldwide SAP Community Network (SCN)! Get exposure to thousands of SAP TechEd attendees. And compete to win surprise gifts that will let you explore new technical horizons.

Finalists will receive two SAP TechEd 2013 full conference tickets – allowing them to enjoy full access to all sessions, including hands-on workshops and technical lectures.

Interested? Then read below and submit your demo for SAP TechEd 2013 Demo Jam. The Call for Demos opens on Tuesday, May 21 and closes on Friday, September 13.

Participation Rules

• No sales presentations allowed.
• Demos must be new. They must solve a real problem. They must use one or several SAP technologies and applications. They must bring value to SAP customers.
• No PowerPoint slides allowed. You must demo code that actually runs.
• Demos must be no more than six minutes in length.
• A maximum of two people may present the demo on stage.
• Anyone can participate: SAP customers, SAP partners, SAP employees*, and even external individuals or organizations not formally linked to SAP.

*Note to SAP employees: you can only enter submissions that showcase work performed in collaboration with an external party (SAP customer, SAP partner, or an individual or organization not formally linked to SAP). A person representing the external party must be available to co-present with you on stage.

Submission Conditions

• Submit a screen cam of your demo with voiceover. We will not consider demos without voiceover or that are longer than six minutes.
• Indicate the SAP TechEd 2013 event(s) at which you'd like to compete: Las Vegas, October 21–25; EMEA, November 5–7; and/or Bangalore, December 11–13. You may compete at all three.
• Finalists receive two complimentary SAP TechEd 2013 Full Conference registrations. All travel expenses are the responsibility of the competitor.
• Submission deadline is September 13 for all locations.

The Demo Jam Selection Committee will review all submissions and invite the best demos to compete on stage in front of the SAP TechEd live audience. Finalists will be notified and announced in mid-September for Las Vegas, EMEA, and Bangalore. One ultimate winner will be determined by audience feedback at each conference.
